About the Native Praise Choir
Native Praise began in November of 1999. Instrumental in preserving Indian culture through the native Christian hymns passed down by ancestors. Accepted invitations to sing in 16 states and in Birmingham, England, Nikopol, Ukraine, and NW Territory, Canada. Founder of Native Praise and Native American LINK ministry is Willene Pierce - who served as Executive Director of LINK for over 15 years. The Native American LINK ministry is a non-profit organization that seeks to help equip Indian Women for Christian ministry. LINK sponsors the Native Praise Choir. Approximately 60 women of Native American descent or affiliated with Indian Baptist congregations throughout Oklahoma. Sing in the languages of the Cherokee, Choctaw and Chickasaw and the Muskogee Creek and Seminole tribes. 19 tribes are represented within the choir. Calender of Events |
