Blessed. What a blessing to be able to share the love of God through the singing of our native Christian hymns.
The Native Praise Choir joined in worship today with First United Methodist Church in Wewoka, OK. We had an added blessing of presenting The Lord's Prayer through Indian sign language. Thank you, Wewoka, for the invitation & the delicious Thanksgiving meal. Great fellowship. Native Praise Choir invitations for November-December. You are most welcomed to attend!
What a great group of ladies! God blessed the fellowship as we traveled to Chinle, AZ to attend the Living Proof Live with Beth Moore Conference on Saturday, October 8, 2016. This picture was taken before we picked up three more in OKC. Then, when we arrived at Chinle & 3 more Oklahoma ladies joined us. The meeting was everything we thought it would be, & more. What a beautiful sight to see thousands of Native American women in one place for the purpose of praise & worship in God's Word.
Please like our Facebook page to keep up with the most recent updates about LINK and the Native Praise Choir as they are available!
We still have room for any of our Native American women who wish to attend this great opportunity....this is a "first" in offering a Beth Moore Conference focused specifically on our people.
On October 6-9, 2016, The Native American LINK, Inc. is sponsoring a special trip to Chinle, AZ to attend Living Proof Live with Beth Moore as Conference Speaker. This is a description of this one-day conference: Join thousands of Native American women from across the region and be a part of unifying the nations. No matter what tribe you’re from, what you’ve been through, or what questions you have about faith, there’s a place for you at this event. If you're searching for answers or struggling to find hope and freedom – this event is for you. LINK has space for 3 more ladies. The cost from Oklahoma is $150 per person for lodging (4 per room) & transportation. Each person is responsible for their own meals. If interested, please email: NativeAmericanLINK@gmail.com ASAP. We have had people tell us that they didn't know that the Native Praise Choir would come sing at their church or for a particular gathering. They thought the choir only sang for big venues. We sing wherever God leads. Yes, we have sung for big events & traveled a lot, but we have also assisted in revivals, on Sunday morning services (although Sundays are hard, because our women serve in their churches), church anniversaries, a wedding, funerals, tribal events & the like.
The Native Praise Choir is a ministry, not seeking to become famous, but to give Glory to God. We pray to be a blessing. God is blessing us in singing of Him in our native languages. Where do I begin? On Monday night, 8/29/2016, I returned home from a week-long mission trip to Hay River Reserve, Northwest Territory, Canada. I was blessed to travel with three more ladies: Stephanie Wickliffe, Priscilla Arneecher, & Ruth Walker. We traveled with Rev. Don Tiger, Rev. Jimmy Anderson & his two sons, Andy & Billy. God used each of us for His service.
We were privileged to work alongside Alex Tambour & Alec Sunrise, as they took us to homes of the elderly, homes of the sick, a Convalescent Facility, to the jail, & to Fort Resolution where another band of First Nations people lived, & a single lady, Ozell Borden, who lives & ministers to children. We held nightly services, singing & worshipping. We offered encouragement to those Christians living in the village, & made friendships that are everlasting. Jesus needs to be declared among our Canadian First Nations brothers & sisters. Please pray. We need to send a man of God who would stay & minister. I will be attaching pictures. |
